COVID-19 POLICY – RETURN TO THE WORKPLACE
This policy contains the COVID-19 policy for return to the workplace of LJR Cheshire Aesthetics. It explains how I am safely reopening the workplace, in accordance with COVID-19 secure guidelines and as permitted under coronavirus restrictions. Please read this policy carefully and comply with the instructions. Please also ensure your emergency contact details are kept up to date. If you have any questions about the policy, please contact me.
The Company reserves the right to amend, replace or remove the contents of this policy from time to time, in its absolute discretion. Any amendments or revisions will be notified by email and subsequently incorporated into future editions.
Clients are required to familiarise themselves with the contents of this policy and comply with it at all times.
This policy applies to all clients.
If you or anyone you live with has any symptoms of coronavirus (a high temperature of 37.8 degrees or more, new continuous cough, or loss of smell or taste) you and your household members must stay at home and self-isolate in accordance with the Government’s guidance. Anyone who has symptoms should arrange to get a coronavirus test as soon as possible – see the NHS guidance for how to do so.
If you begin to show symptoms, or you are made aware that someone in your household is showing symptoms, notify me immediately to rearrange and go quickly and directly home where you must self-isolate. Get a coronavirus test if you have symptoms.
You must also self-isolate if you:
are contacted by NHS “Test and Trace” and told to self-isolate – advice can be found here; or
return from a country that is not exempt from self-isolation requirements.
I will follow appropriate government guidance to clean the workplace if there is a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus in the workplace.
We are taking precautions to keep the workplace safe, which are set out below. Please advise me if you have any further ideas for how I can protect you, would like any training on any of the actions set out below, or are concerned that company policies are not being followed.
Working from home – we will comply with the current government guidance regarding working from home. ( If our business is permitted to be open) we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the workplace is COVID19-secure.
We will comply with the latest government guidance to protect clinically vulnerable and clinically extremely vulnerable people. This may involve those working from home where possible. If it is not possible for me work, I may be required to stay at home and not attend work (if required by government advice) we can then discuss possible changes to appointments.
You can find guidance on who is clinically vulnerable here and who is clinically extremely vulnerable here. If you believe you fall into one of these categories, and you have not already notified us in your individual risk assessment, please advise me immediately.
Travel to and from work – it is advisable to consider walking or cycling to work where possible, and strongly advised if you are extremely clinically vulnerable or clinically vulnerable and cannot work from home. Using a private vehicle may also help to reduce social contact. If you are using public transport, you must follow the Government’s rules around using face coverings and social distancing. You must wash your hands before applying, and after removing, a face covering, change your face covering when it is damp, and avoid touching your face while wearing a face covering. Face coverings should be disposed of, or washed, after use.
To reduce the risk of infection spread when travelling to and from work, I have introduced the following actions:
Staggering my appointment times to be able to fully sanitise myself and all my equiptment
Handwashing or hand sanitiser after every encounter
Limiting the number of people in my diary
